1. Our approach
Tork handles production data that plants rely on to run their operations. This page summarises how we protect it. For a detailed security questionnaire or a call with our team, email jeevan@intilt.in.
2. Deployment options
Tork can be deployed in the cloud or on-premise inside your plant network.
Cloud deployments are hosted on Amazon Web Services.
On-premise deployments keep production data on infrastructure you own and control, for plants that require local data storage.
3. Access control
Users sign in with individual accounts, and sessions are managed and expire.
Role-based access control limits what each user can see and do, so people only access the data their role needs.
4. Audit logging
User activity is tracked, and audit logs record who did what and when, to support internal reviews and quality audits.
5. Data in transit
Data sent between users' browsers and Tork is encrypted in transit.
6. Shared responsibility for on-premise deployments
For on-premise deployments, Intilt Smartforge Pvt. Ltd. is responsible for the security of the Tork software. The customer is responsible for the physical security, network, operating systems, and backups of the servers and plant PCs it runs on.
7. Certifications
Tork does not currently hold a third-party security certification. We are working towards ISO/IEC 27001 and will update this page as that progresses.
8. Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue in Tork or this website, email jeevan@intilt.in with the subject line "Security report" and enough detail for us to reproduce it. Please give us reasonable time to fix the issue before disclosing it publicly, and do not access or modify data that is not yours.
