Bottle Counter·Vision-Based Tray Counting

Every Tray Counted Before It's Packed

A camera-based counter checks each tray at packing, counts every bottle, and flags short or overfilled trays before they are sealed. Every count goes to Tork MES.

01 // THE PROBLEM

Miscounts at Packing Cost You Twice

A short tray becomes a customer complaint. An overfilled one gives away product for free. Counting by hand at packing speed is slow and error-prone, and there's no record of what went into each tray.

  • Operators count trays by eye at packing speed, so mistakes are inevitable
  • Short trays reach the customer and come back as complaints and claims
  • Overfilled trays quietly give away saleable product
  • Packed quantity is estimated rather than measured, so it never quite matches production
02 // HOW IT WORKS

How Vision Counting Works

From a filled tray to a verified count.

01

Tray Arrives

A filled tray moves under the camera station at the packing line.

02

Image & Count

The vision system captures the tray and counts every bottle in it automatically.

03

Verify Against Target

The count is checked against the expected quantity for the SKU. Short or overfilled trays are flagged right away.

04

Record in Tork MES

Each tray count is logged to Tork MES, giving you an accurate packed quantity for every shift and batch.

03 // CAPABILITIES

What the Bottle Counter Does

Vision-Based Counting

Cameras count every bottle in the tray, with no manual tally.

Short & Over-Fill Alerts

Trays that don't match the target count are flagged before they are sealed.

Image Record

A captured image of each tray serves as proof of count when there's a dispute.

Accurate Packed Quantity

Packed output is measured tray by tray, not estimated.

Live in Tork MES

Tray counts feed pack-to-production yield and shift reports.

Per-SKU Targets

Set the expected count for each SKU and tray format.

04 // COMMON QUESTIONS

Before You Ask

Does it slow down packing?

No. The camera counts each tray as it passes the station, so packing continues at its normal pace.

What happens when a tray count is wrong?

The tray is flagged straight away so it can be corrected before it is sealed, and the event is recorded in Tork MES.

Can it handle different tray formats and bottle sizes?

Yes. Expected counts and tray layouts are configured per SKU.
